My goal is to build a museum. And to let you watch me do it.

Do I feel vulnerable? Yes.

Am I a little terrified? Yep.

Am I qualified at all to do this? Nope.

But here’s the thing. My dad (I call him Pop) was an amazing painter. He painted full time, professionally from the late 1960s into the early 2020s. He wasn’t typical in any sense of the word. Someone told him as a child to “kick the sign down and go the other way” and that’s exactly what he did. All his life.

And the good news is, he was a documentarian. So he left me with a lot to work with. The bad news is, he wasn’t super organized didn’t have the benefit of digital organization methods most of his life. So he left me with a lot of work I’ve got a lot of work to do. Better get to it…
